The StoryMixer JavaScript code holds players' answers in the current browser session's memory. The current game does not create accounts, use its own user database or send answers to a StoryMixer server endpoint for storage. Reloading the page discards the game state. To deliver the website, the hosting provider and network infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, access time, requested URL and browser details for delivery, troubleshooting and security. 5. Read aloud, sharing and external AI idea
Read-aloud uses browser speech synthesis, whose implementation may depend on your browser or operating system. Sharing uses your device's sharing interface or copies the story to the clipboard. The optional “AI idea” button asks for confirmation before opening a DuckDuckGo page whose URL contains the generated story; processing on that destination is subject to its own privacy practices.

The current pre-AdSense version does not include Google AdSense ad tags and the StoryMixer game code does not set advertising cookies. If Google AdSense is enabled later, Google and its partners may process data (including IP addresses) and use cookies, identifiers and similar technologies to serve and measure ads.
